The invention discloses a production technology for necking a textile, and relates to the field of production technologies of elastic textiles. According to the technical scheme, the production technology for necking the textile is characterized in that production is conducted according to the following technology steps of (1) preparing a base cloth, a braid and a hot melt adhesive film; (2) conducting carving treatment on the hot melt adhesive film; (3) laminating the braid and the hot melt adhesive film; (4) splicing the braid and the base cloth; (5) placing a cut-part, which is formed by splicing the base cloth and the braid, on an initial mould; (6) conducting a pre-setting working procedure, wherein a prepared semi-finished product is subjected to pre-heat setting by adopting an electric heating mould, and conducting hot-pressing through the electric heating mould; (7) conducting a steam setting working procedure, wherein setting is conducted on a semi-finished product, which is subjected to pre-setting, by adopting a steam mould; and (8) conducting cooling, wherein through a ventilation cooling system on steam, a product, which is subjected to steam setting, is cooled. The production technology for necking the textile has the advantages that by punching and carving the hot melt adhesive film and embodying the punched and carved hot melt adhesive film on an elastic portion, a fashion trend is added, and the braid is completely fused into the base cloth, so that the elastic portion of a piece of cloth, which is obtained after the base cloth is set, is stereoscopic.
