The artificial coarse aggregate is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of sea sand; 12 to 20 parts of a binder; 0.06 to 0.18 part of a coalescing agent; 12 to 20 parts of water; wherein the binder is an
acrylate copolymer emulsion with the
solid content of 50%, and the coalescing agent is
propylene glycol monobutyl
ether. The preparation method comprises the steps of
raw material pretreatment and mixing,
adhesive solution preparation, rolling agglomeration
granulation, curing maintenance, screening and the like. By controlling the particle size grading of the sea sand, the use amount of the binder and process parameters, the prepared artificial coarse aggregate is in an irregular polygonal form, has a rough and porous surface, has proper
bulk density, cylinder
compressive strength and water absorption, and can meet the use requirements of C25-C35 grade lightweight concrete. According to the method, efficient utilization of sea sand resources is achieved, the process is simple,
energy consumption is low, and the method has good
engineering application prospects.
