chirp signal. The multi-beam sounding
system based on a
chirp signal includes an emission wet end, a reception wet end, a
signal processor and a display control computer, wherein the emission wet end emits a
chirp signal as a detection signal of the
system; the detection signal is received by the reception wet end, and is uploaded to the signal processor after accepting signal pre-
processing; the signal processor further processes the data after pre-
processing by combination of the data of an auxiliary sensor, and extracts the
seabed depth and the orientation information and sends the
seabed depth and the orientation information to the display control computer; and the display control computer is used for controlling emission and reception of system signals, and completing
processing and display of images and storage of data. The multi-beam sounding system based on a chirp signal utilizes a chirp signal as a multi-beam
seabed detection signal, thus guaranteeing higher object measuring resolution while satisfying the demand of the operating range of multi-beam
sonar detection, can resolve the contradiction between the operating range of a traditional single frequency signal multi-
beam system and the object resolution, and can effectively improve the working performance of the multi-
beam system.
