The invention discloses a box for rapidly determining
formaldehyde in
indoor air, and a passive absorption manufacturing method, and belongs to the field of detection instruments. The invention aims to provide the box for rapidly determining the
formaldehyde in the
indoor air, and the passive absorption manufacturing method; and by the box, the
formaldehyde in the
indoor air is rapidly determined according to the principle that gas molecules are permeated and absorbed after being dispersed. The method comprises the following steps of: placing
sodium metabisulfite in a
beaker, adding
purified water, stirring and dissolving, then adding
glycerol, adding
purified water, stirring, and completely dissolving to obtain a formaldehyde absorbent; injecting the formaldehyde absorbent into the bottom of a plastic formaldehyde absorption box by using a liquid-moving
machine, placing the plastic formaldehyde absorption box in a
drying oven at constant temperature of 100 DEG C, taking out after 13 minutes, forming a film with the thickness of 1 to 2mu m by using the formaldehyde absorbent, covering an upper cover of the plastic formaldehyde absorption box, and preserving at
room temperature; placing the plastic absorption box at any horizontal position in a room to be detected, opening the plastic sealed upper cover, injecting an
aqueous solution, slightly stirring for 5 seconds to ensure that the absorbent film in the formaldehyde absorption box is dissolved, standing for 30 minutes, adding a color-developing agent, stirring for 3 seconds, absorbing absorption liquid into a color comparison tube, holding the liquid part of the color comparison tube by using a hand for 5 minutes, comparing the color of the absorption liquid and the color of a standard color separation guide, and reading the content of formaldehyde in indoor air. The formaldehyde absorbent is not needed to be crushed, so the manufacturing process is simple.
