The invention provides an organic matter removal compound flocculating agent which comprises, by weight, 30-50 parts of polymerization ferric chloride-organic compound flocculating agents, 10-20 partsof modified fly ash polymerized iron sulfate, 10-20 parts of magnesium citrate, 8-16 parts of polysilicic acid flocculating agents, 4-8 parts of agglomeration agents and 2-4 parts of xanthan gum. Thepolymerization ferric chloride-organic compound flocculating agents are mainly prepared from ferric trichloride, aluminum chloride and carboxylated chitosan. The flocculating agent is high in flocculating velocity and adsorption capacity and high water quality applicability, a molecular elongation layer is large in water, ion dispersion is high, negative ion and positive ion matters are effectively removed, the flocculating agent has coagulation sedimentation properties, and effluent quality and effluent stability of a sedimentation tank can be remarkably improved.
