The invention discloses high-moisture-absorption polylactic acid fibers for medical paper towel. The high-moisture-absorption polylactic acid fibers are prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80 to 100 parts of plylactic acid, 15 to 25 parts of compatilizer, 6 to 12 parts of wool fibers, 5 to 9 parts of coconut fibers, 4 to 8 parts of vermiculite powder, 2 to 4 parts of white carbon black, 6 to 12 parts of plasticizer, 2 to 3 parts of coloring agent, 1 to 2 parts of lubricating agent, and 1.5 to 2.5 parts of dispersing agent. The compatilizer comprises the following components in parts by weight: 20 to 30 parts of gelatin compound, and 0.6 to 1 parts of aluminum-zirconium coupling agent. The gelatin compound is prepared by adopting the following process: drying bamboo powder, crushing, soaking in a sodium hydroxide solution, filtering, drying, adding an ethanol solution, 1-(3-dimethylamino amino)-3-ethylenediamine hydrochloride, and N-hydroxythiosuccinimide, uniformly mixing, then adding gelatin, stirring, cleaning, freeze drying, and crushing, thus obtaining the gelatin compound.
