By adopting the method, scandium oxide with the purity of 99.99% can be extracted.

The method has the advantages that a great number of interferents are removed through the precipitate separation step; after the separation, the reaction is thorough; the terminal point can be easily observed; the measuring result is stable, accurate and fast; the operation flow process is short; the requirements on the equipment and environment conditions are simple; the measuring cost is low; the use of virulent and environment-pollution reagents is also avoided; the environment pollution is small.
