The pest control method comprises following control steps of: (1) seed sterilization: a. laying out and exposing watermelon seeds in the sun for 3 to 5 hours and flipping watermelon seeds one time per hour; b. putting soaking watermelon seeds into saline water at the concentration of 8 to 12% for about 0.5 to 1 hour; (2) cleaning of a melon field: thoroughly removing weeds in the melon field and the periphery of the melon field in the range of 5 to 8m and scattering 120-150g of lime powder per square meter and scattering 180 to 250g of sulphur powder per square meter two days later; (3).seeding stage: a. diluting ningnanmycin at the concentration of 1.5 to 2.5% for about 300 to 350 times, controlling once every 5 to 7 days by spraying and spraying 3 to 4 times; b. diluting 20g of a Jinjier wilt killer by utilizing water for 12 to 15Kg, controlling once every 10 to 12 days by spraying and spraying 2 to 3 times; and (4) flowering phase: a. diluting azadirachtin at the concentration of 0.2 to 0.4% for 800 to 1200 times, controlling once every 10 to 12 days by spraying and spraying 4 to 6 times; b. diluting the Jinjier wilt killer by utilizing water for 8 to 12 Kg, controlling every 8 to 10 days by spraying and spraying 2 to 3 times. According to the method, multiple melons can be harvested through one plant, and the aims of reducing cultivation links, being high in yield and efficient and achieving long-season cultivation can be achieved.
