The invention provides a polyimide polymer. According to the invention, 2,2'-bis(3,4-dicarboxylphenyl)hexafluoropropane dianhydride (6FDA) used as a dianhydride monomer and 2,4-diaminobenzene sulfonate (MPDSAM) used as a diamine monomer, are subjected to solution copolycondensation so as to synthesize metal-ion-containing polyimide (6FDA-MPDSAM) which can be dissolved in N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF), N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and other solvents. The prepared polyimide has high gas permeability and selectivity and can be used for separation of a plurality of gases, e.g., separation of oxygen/nitrogen in the air, separation of hydrogen/nitrogen, separation of carbon dioxide and methane during purifying of natural gas, etc.
