The invention provides puerarin short bread and a making method thereof. The making method comprises the following steps of (1) making crisp crusts: adding flour, rapeseed oil, salt and seasoning in acertain proportion into a dough mixer together, performing mixing, and then performing standing so as to obtain butyrous crisp crusts; (2) making wrappers: adding flour, soda powder, dry yeast, fruitpowder capable of reducing weight, tricholoma matsutake powder, shiitake mushroom powder, dendrobium nobile stem fresh branch pulp, black sesame seeds, walnut powder, nori powder, oat, black bean slurry, radix puerariae powder, puffed polished glutinous rice and puerarin water in a certain proportion into a dough mixer, then performing standing for fermentation, and then performing pressing so asto obtain dough segments; (3) spreading a certain dosage of crisp crusts on the dough segments, performing wrapping, conveying wrapped materials into a shortening machine for shortening, then puttingthe shortened materials into an oven for making the short bread, and performing spreading for cooling. According to the puerarin short bread disclosed by the invention, wasted puerarin water cooperates with other raw materials, and the short bread is made, so that nutrient substances in the puerarin waste water can be effectively utilized, the utilization rate of the raw materials is increased, besides, exhaust of the puerarin waste water is avoided, and environment is also protected; and besides, the made short bread is high in nutrient value, and higher economic benefits can be genenrated.
