The invention particularly relates to a method for efficient cuttage breeding of
camellia oleifera seedlings in a high altitude area. The method comprises the steps of
seedbed preparation, rooting agent preparation,
cutting slip treatment, cuttage, film mulching,
cutting slip management, bagging culture,
acclimatization and
transplantation and the like. The upper layer of a matrix used for cuttage is
perlite, a rooting agent used for cuttage is prepared from ABT rooting
powder, a
willow extracting solution,
monopotassium phosphate,
potassium nitrate and
ammonium nitrate in proportion, rooting hormones and mineral
nutrition contained in the rooting agent can meet the requirements of
camellia oleifera for rooting and growth, formation of adventitious roots and lateral roots of
cutting slips is promoted, and good growth of the cutting slips is ensured. After cutting is completed, the
seedbed is covered with a white
plastic film, so that the temperature and
humidity of the
seedbed are increased, and good temperature and
humidity conditions are provided for rooting of the cutting slips. In addition, after rooting of the cutting slips, the cutting slips are transplanted into a degradable
nutrition bag to be cultured for a period of time, and the
survival rate and
stress resistance of the
camellia oleifera seedlings are greatly increased through
transplanting of the
nutrition bag. The method can meet the requirement for producing the camellia oleifera seedlings in high-altitude areas.
