Sebacina is a genus of fungi in the family Sebacinaceae. Its species are mycorrhizal, forming a range of associations with trees, orchids, and other plants. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are produced on soil and litter, sometimes partly encrusting stems of living plants. The fruit bodies are cartilaginous to rubbery-gelatinous and variously effused to coral-shaped. The genus has a cosmopolitan distribution, but fewer than a dozen species are currently recognized worldwide.

The bacterial strains are preserved in the general microbial centre of the Chinese general microbial strain preservation and management committee. The invention discloses a bacterial strain for low-temperature glycolysis of corn straw as well as a fermentation culture method and application of the bacterial strain. The invention firstly discloses a separated short bacillus strain, the microbial preservation number of which is: CGMCC (China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center) No.15177. The invention optimizes relevant parameters of a fermentation preparation method of the separated short bacillus strain. The short bacillus separated by the invention can grow at different temperatures and still has exuberant growing power under the low-temperature condition of 4 DEG C. The strain separated by the invention can be used for high efficient glycolysis of the corn straw, and can be separately applied to glycolysis of the straw or in combination with EM bacteria. Fermentation broth of the strain disclosed by the invention is mixed with EM bacterial liquid and then the low-temperature glycolysis of the corn straw is performed by a mixture, so that the glycolysis effect of the straw is significantly improved and the glycolysis rate is increased by 47.4 percent. The separated short bacillus strain disclosed by the invention has a wide application prospect in preparing a straw-decomposing inoculant, in particular to a corn straw-decomposing inoculant.

Short bacillus and method for preparing trehalose by virtue of fermentation

The invention discloses a short bacillus and an application thereof. The short bacillus is a curtobacterium sp. SY311 bacterial strain and is preserved in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) with the preservation number of CGMCC No.7181. The method for preparing trehalose by fermenting the short bacillus concretely comprises the following steps of: (1) activating the strain; (2) preparing a seed solution; (3) fermenting; (4) deproteinizing; (5) collecting a trehalose component; and (6) carrying out posttreatment, namely carrying out decoloration, filtering, low pressure concentration, crystallization and drying on the trehalose component, so that the trehalose product is obtained. According to the invention, the adopted strain is mutated by ultraviolet, trehalose enzymatic activity is low, and accumulative increase of trehalose in fermentation liquor can be facilitated, so that the yield of the final trehalose product is increased; and the preparation technology disclosed by the invention is simple, trehalose is directly synthesized by adopting a one-step method, raw materials are available, cost is low, less impurities are contained in the trehalose product, purification is easy, and the method provided by the invention is applicable to industrial production.
