The strain separated by the invention can be used for high efficient glycolysis of the corn straw, and can be separately applied to glycolysis of the straw or in combination with EM bacteria. Fermentation broth of the strain disclosed by the invention is mixed with EM bacterial liquid and then the low-temperature glycolysis of the corn straw is performed by a mixture, so that the glycolysis effect of the straw is significantly improved and the glycolysis rate is increased by 47.4 percent. The separated short bacillus strain disclosed by the invention has a wide application prospect in preparing a straw-decomposing inoculant, in particular to a corn straw-decomposing inoculant.
