The invention discloses a method for preparing an attapulgite-based pH value response antibacterial material. The method comprises the following steps: at a stirring state, directly spraying an
aldehyde type natural
antibacterial agent to the surface of attapulgite
powder, further performing
grinding in a ball milling, and spraying a
chitosan-
citric acid aqueous solution into a stirring tank; andperforming continuous stirring for 30-120 minutes after spraying is completed, and
drying, screening and packaging the obtained material, so as to obtain the attapulgite-based pH value response antibacterial material. According to the method,
aldehyde substances are retained in pores of attapulgite by using a mechanical chemical method, and a
chitosan solution is further sprayed to the surface ofthe attapulgite, so that the
aldehyde substances can be reacted with
chitosan to form
Schiff base, and problems that an aldehyde type natural
antibacterial agent is easy to volatilize, heavy in irritant smell, and the like, can be overcome; and meanwhile, due to adoption of the chitosan, the antibacterial material is endowed with pH value response, namely under an acid condition, amino of the chitosan is protonized, antibacterial substances are not released, but under neutral and weak alkaline conditions, the
Schiff base is hydrolyzed, and the antibacterial substances are continuously released, so that the antibacterial material can replace
antibiotics applied to safe breeding of animals.
