The invention belongs to the field of environmental protection; and aiming at problems of high quantity, complex components and no proper process treatment of mercury-contained tailings generated by nonferrous metal mines and nonferrous smelting enterprises in a production process, the invention discloses a method for recovering mercury from the mercury-contained tailings through complexing extraction and consolidating decomposition. The method comprises the following steps: the complexing extraction is performed for the mercury-contained tailings by adopting mixed solution of thiosulfate and selenium generation of sulfate, so that transfer-state mercury in the mercury-contained tailings is transferred into leaching agent; and the consolidating decomposition is performed for the mercury in the leaching agent and a complex, formed by a thiosulfuric acid radical and a selenium generation of sulfuric acid radical, through a method of heating and feeding carbon dioxide gas, so that the mercury is finally converted to stable mercury sulfide/mercury selenide to form precipitates. The method is simple in operation; and the transfer-state mercury in the mercury-contained tailings is converted to a form of mercury sulfide and/or mercury selenide precipitates with low solubility, high stability and low toxicity, so that the pollution harm of the mercury in the mercury-contained tailings to environment is effectively reduced.

Application of water-loss reducer in jatopha curcas forestation on dry-hot valley

The Chinese commodity name of the water retention agent of the invention is Tudihanbaobei water retention agent, the cultivation plot is barren mountains and barren slope lands without water conservancy and irrigation; field planting is conducted in May to October, the rain season; the size of the dug planting pond is 80 cm multiplied by 80 cm multiplied by 80 cm <3>; base fertilizer comprising 2 kg to 4 kg of well-rotted farmyard manure, 0.5 kg of calcium superphosphate and 0.5 kg of potassium sulfate is fertilized in each planting pond and a nursery stock is placed in the planting pond, 20 g to 30 g of water retention agent granules are put at the root of the nursery stock and then the soil is backfilled in the planting pond. The application of the water retention agent of the invention solves the problem of the low survival ratio of forestation in arid-hot river valley areas by adopting the traditional method of jatropha curcas artificial forestation; utilization of the invention can ensure that the survival ratio of jatropha curcas forestation in arid-hot river valleys reaches 95 percent to 98 percent, raising by 22.22 percent compared with the contrastive survival ratios on average, thus improving the yield and the benefit of forest lands.
