formaldehyde catching agent. The volatile oil formaldehyde catching agent is one kind of volatile oils extracted from
maple leaves,
cryptomeria fortunei leaves, pine leaves and Japan
cypress leaves or a mixture of any two kinds of the volatile oils. The producing steps of the catching agent lowering formaldehyde in the wood board are a strong acid stage, a
weak base stage, a weak acid stage, a glue solution modulating stage, a board producing technology stage and performance test in sequence. The key of the production method for the catching agent lowering formaldehyde in the wood board is that through an original structure of modified
urea resin, the formaldehyde emission is reduced, the volatile oil formaldehyde catching agent and modified
urea-formaldehyde
resin adhesive are added in the producing process of the board, free formaldehyde in the producing process is absorbed, and the formaldehyde emission is further reduced.
