The invention relates to a method for multifunctional ecological control through sponge. The method includes constructing a water stagnation accumulation pipe network and an ecological control layer (comprising a plant oxygen production layer in a plant form thereon); the water stagnation accumulation pipe network gathering and storing water from the surface and/or underground, and delivering the stored water to plants of the ecological control layer to supply water for growth and evolution of organisms of the ecological control layer. According to the method, recycling of water resources and ecologic control engineering are combined, the problems of flood and drought are solved, formation, development and maintenance of the ecologic control system are further promoted, and great development and great revolution of biological oxygen movement are boosted. The method is suitable for being applied to construction fields of cities, towns, new countryside, constructed wetlands, industrial and mining establishments and the like, is particularly applicable to ecological control in regions of mines, oil field, geological-hazard-prone areas, wilderness, saline-alkali soil, deserts, estuaries, coasts, mud flat, wetlands, water-level-fluctuating zones, sides of traffic roads and the like, as well as other regions needing ecological remediation in people's production and living environments.
