According to the preparation method provided by the invention, thecomposite carrier which is prepared by adding active carbon in alumina carrier improves pore size and enlarges specific surface; since an S, CuS and CuSx multi-component active substance is carried bythe carrier, not only is the demercuration speed of mercury-removing agent with copper sulphide as an active substance improved, but also the loss of elemental sulfur can be prevented, rapid and stable demercuration is realized, and the mercury capacity is increased as well.
