The prepared cloth has a contact angle more than 150 degrees, has good oil-water separation capability, can achieve high separation efficiency (up to 97%) to oil water mixture with different ingredients and different volume ratios, and has low relative standard deviation less than 0.7%. The LDH modified super-hydrophobic cloth has important significance on separation of oil water mixture, treatment on pollution of rivers, lakes and the sea caused by petroleum and non-insoluble oil stain.
