arachidonic acid in induction improvement of corn
leukoderma resistance, the
arachidonic acid is applied to prevention and treatment of corn
leukoderma for the first time, and experiments show that the
arachidonic acid can improve the photosynthetic effective leaf area, Fm content, Fv / Fm content, NPQ content, soluble
sugar content and soluble
protein content of plants; and / or increasing the activity of
disease-resistant-related defensive substances; and / or catalyzing synthesis of
lignin and phenolic substances; and / or the content of Rfd, MDA and
reducing sugar of the
plant is reduced to induce and improve the corn
leukoderma resistance, so that a new direction and basis can be provided for preventing and treating the corn leukoderma by adopting natural compounds. It is found that the arachidonic acid does not strictly depend on the total spraying amount for inducing and improving the leukoderma resistance, but when the spraying amount is the same and the concentration of the arachidonic acid in the spraying liquid is 15 [mu] M, the arachidonic acid is optimal for inducing and improving the leukoderma resistance. And the application of arachidonic acid is beneficial to reducing the particle size of
starch particles in corn kernels under the pressure of leukoderma.
