The invention also provides a preparation method of the embolism microsphere, which comprises the following steps: inputting an internal phase fluid into an injection tube of a microfluid device, inputting an external phase fluid into a collecting tube of the microfluid device, forming a monodisperse water-in-oil emulsion in the collecting tube, and collecting the monodisperse water-in-oil emulsion by adopting a container filled with collecting liquid, and in an alkaline environment provided by sodium hydroxide in the collected liquid, initiating a polymerization reaction of polyvinyl alcohol and boric acid in a liquid drop water phase of the monodisperse water-in-oil emulsion, and after sufficient polymerization reaction, converting the monodisperse water-in-oil emulsion into the monodisperse boric acid crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol embolism microspheres. According to the method, the monodispersity of the embolism microspheres is improved while rapid, continuous and non-toxic preparation of the embolism microspheres is realized, and the possibility of mistaken embolism is reduced.
