The invention discloses a method for synthesizing a ternary-copolymerized super-absorbent resin. The method comprises the following operating steps: weighing chitosan hydrochloride, itaconic acid and acrylic acid according to the mass ratio of (1-11): (2-10): (3-17); firstly, dissolving chitosan hydrochloride and itaconic acid, which are in the mass ratio, into distilled water, and transferring a mixed solution into a four-mouthed flask which is provided with a nitrogen gas conduit and a reflux condensation tube; heating to the temperature of 30-80 DEG C, then, adding a 1%-18% initiator, continuing to react for 1-6 hours under the protection of nitrogen gas, and dropwise adding acrylic acid which is in the mass ratio during reaction; mixing a reactant and ethanol, purifying and baking, thereby obtaining the ternary-copolymerized super-absorbent resin. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the process is simple, and the selected chitosan hydrochloride is a monomer, so that the problem of chitosan solubility is solved, and polymerization reaction can be carried out under neutral conditions; itaconic acid added during the synthesis of the product is a monomer, so that the water absorbency of the product is further improved, the highest absorption volume of deionized water is 1,000-1,100 times, the highest absorption volume of tap water is 300-400 times, and the highest absorption volume of normal saline is 100-120 times.
