mass: 18 to 22 parts of olibanum, 15 to 20 parts of
myrrh, 13 to 16 parts of redroot gromwell root, 18 to 23 parts of Chinese angelica, 9 to 13 parts of radix et rhizoma rhei, 12 to 17 parts of dried
rehmannia root, 13 to 18 parts of
mirabilite crystal, 12 to 17 parts of dahurian
angelica root, 9 to 14 parts of subshrubby peony root-
bark and 9 to 13 parts of cortex phellodendri. The preparation method comprises the steps as follows: according to the proportion of all the components, the olibanum, the
myrrh, the redroot gromwell root, the Chinese angelica, the radix et rhizoma rhei, the dried
rehmannia root, the
mirabilite crystal, the dahurian
angelica root, the subshrubby peony root-
bark and the cortex phellodendri are ground into
fine powder,which passes through a 80-mesh screen; in addition, 20 to 50 parts of
vegetable oil is adopted to be put together into a wok for deep-frying, and dregs are removed; heating is carried out until waterdrips form beads, 5 to 15 parts of beewax is added to be melted, and when temperature is 50 DEG C, the
powder is added. The Hui ointment has the effects of promoting
blood circulation to remove bloodstasis, eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting
granulation, clearing heat and removing
toxicity, diminishing
inflammation and relieving pain, resisting infection and the like, and the
curative effect on deep burns and scalds is remarkable.
