The invention relates to a thermal insulation material, which is characterized by comprising: a) a polyethylene bubble layer, b) an aluminum foil layer, c) a weaving cloth layer or a glass fiber layer and/or d) a protective layer, wherein the polyethylene bubble layer comprises at least one layer of polyethylene bubbles; the aluminum foil layer is arranged on one surface of the polyethylene bubble layer. The material is made of environmentally-friendly nonhazardous raw materials, is harmless to human bodies and environment, has light weight, is dustless and convenient to transport and construct, has functions of thermal insulation, sound insulation, moisture prevention and shock prevention, has the performance of light reflection, heat reflection, radiation protection and the like, and has high tightness and barrier property, so the thermal insulation material can be widely applied to building structures such as roofs, walls, floors and the like, protection sleeves such as air conditioners, water heaters, water pipes and ventilating ducts, refrigerating packages, automobile sunshades, moistureproof sandbeach cushions and the like.
