The extracts have the functions of reducing the pH values of the intestinal tracts and/or increasing the contents of the short-chain fatty acids in the intestinal tracts. Reduction of the pH values of the intestinal tracts is not beneficial to growth of potential pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal tracts, so that the extracts have positive effects on the functions of colons. Increase of the contents of the short-chain fatty acids is beneficial to the good micro-ecological environments of the intestinal tracts.
