The invention relates to a preparation method of octodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (OTAB) antibacterial solid paraffin, which takes solid paraffin as raw material, OTAB as antibacterial agent, and stearic acid as dispersing modifier. The preparation method comprises the steps of: 1. slowing heating the solid paraffin until the solid paraffin is melted at the constant temperature of 80-90 DEG C; 2. weighing and taking the stearic acid according to the proportion of 1: 5-10 between the OTAB and the stearic acid; 3. slowing heating the stearic acid until the stearic acid is melted at the constant temperature of 80-90 DEG C; 4. weighing and taking the OTAB according to the dosage of the OTAB accounting for 0.6% of the weight of the solid paraffin; 5. adding the OTAB into the obtained stearic acid melt with the temperature of 80-90 DEG C, and evenly stirring; 6. adding the mixed melt of the OTAB and the stearic acid into the paraffin melt with the temperature of 80-90 DEG C, and evenly stirring; 7. heating the turbid mixed melt of the OTAB, the stearic acid and the paraffin to 100-110 DEG C, and slowing stirring until the turbid mixed melt is clear and transparent; and 8. naturally cooling the obtained mixed melt to be room temperature, and obtaining the OTAB antibacterial solid paraffin. The OTAB antibacterial solid paraffin is excellent in antibacterial performance, good in safety, simple in technique, low in cost, easy to popularize and apply, wide in usage and remarkable in social and economic benefits.
