The invention provides a preparation method of a novel low-noise EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) cable material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) crushing natural corals, adding into a sodium hydroxide solution, performing ultrasonic cleaning after soaking, taking out, and drying to obtain coral powder; (2) performing ball milling on the coral powder, adding into an ethanol solution, mixing to obtain a suspension, adding polyethylene glycol, then performing magnetic stirring, discharging, performing vacuum drying, taking out, grinding, and screening to obtain modified coral powder; (3) soaking nano boron fibers in a methylbenzene solution, drying until the weight is constant, adding into a potassium permanganate solution, performing thermostatic water bath treatment, discharging, and drying until the weight is constant to obtain modified nano boron fibers; and (4) mixing the modified coral powder and an EVA glue solution to obtain a mixed glue solution, soaking the modified nano boron fibers into the mixed glue solution, twisting in parallel, cutting, putting a unidirectional fiber pre-soaking fabric into a flat mold, and performing hot pressing molding in a hot press, thereby obtaining the low-noise EVA cable material. The cable material prepared by the method provided by the invention is relatively good in noise resistance and can be used for low-noise cables.
