The invention relates to the technical field of broiler chick feed, and in particular, relates to a broiler chick feed and a preparation method thereof. The broiler chick feed is composed of the following components in percentage by weight: 55 to 60% of piglet corn, 20 to 25% of soybean meal, 3 to 8% of puffed soybean, 2 to 6% of corn protein powder, 2 to 3% of rice DDGS, 2 to 4% of rice bran meal, 1 to 1.5% of calcium carbonate, 1.2 to 1.5% of calcium hydrophosphate, 0.3 to 0.4% of lysine, 0.1 to 0.2% of methionine, 0.01 to 0.05% of compound enzyme, 0.01 to 0.03% of probiotics, 0.01 to 0.03% of compound vitamin, 0.1 to 0.3% of compound trace element, 0.05 to 0.1% of choline chloride, 0.2 to 0.3% of sodium chloride and 0.1 to 0.5% of montmorillonite. The feed disclosed by the invention is suitable for digestion characteristics of broiler chicks, so that the feed is fully digested and absorbed in stomachs of the chickens, and generated residues are decomposed by pancreatic amylase when passing through intestinal tracts and have a synergistic effect with intestinal microorganisms, so that decomposition of the feed residues is enhanced, reabsorption of the raw materials is promoted, gastrointestinal linkage of the chicks is enhanced, and the immunity and meat quality of the chicks are improved.
