The invention relates to a method for preparing high-purity nano-crystalline
cellulose from
textile plants and relates to the utilization of
textile plants. The method comprises the following steps: 1), after being crushed and screened for purification,
textile plants are added into a
sulfuric acid aqueous solution for treatment, so as to dissolve out
glycan, and then through washing and squeezing, a preprocessed fibrous material A is obtained; 2), the fibrous material A obtained in the step 1),
magnesium oxide and water are added into a reaction kettle,
oxygen is introduced, then washing and squeezing are performed after reaction, and a
crude fibre B is obtained; and 3), the
crude fibre B obtained in the step 2),
hydrogen peroxide and water are added into a reaction kettle for reaction, after reaction, the high-purity nano-crystalline
cellulose can be obtained through washing, squeezing, diluted homogenizing, high-pressure homogenizing and
drying. Hemicelluloses and
lignin in the textile plants are effectively removed; further the purity and the whiteness of the
cellulose are further improved; not only is an environmental physical method adopted for preparing nano-crystalline cellulose, but also high purity cellulose can be made from the textile plants in a
sulfur-free and
chloride-free way, and the method can be well applied to the fields of foods, medicines and the like.
