The invention relates to a method for alive preservation and transportation of 
sea cucumber, which belongs to the technical field of aquatic products. The method comprises the following steps: holding the transported 
sea cucumber (naturally fished and caught or artificially cultured) for at least two days, transferring the 
sea cucumber with strong 
vitality after holding into a cooling 
barrel which is disinfected in advance and contains filtered sea water for performing cooling treatment, then placing into a 
plastic bag (a small 
sponge after being soaked in the sea water at the temperature of 20 DEG C is arranged in the bag), exhausting the air in the bag, enabling the bag to be rapidly filled with 
oxygen, binding up a bag mouth, and boxing; loading two 
layers or three 
layers or four 
layers in each heat insulation box, determining according to the size of the sea cucumber and the size of space in each box, separating the layers by hardboards, using foam boards to support at the middle parts, preventing the 
plastic bag from being damaged by 
extrusion and further avoiding death caused by hypoxia of the sea cucumber or oppression on the sea cucumber; placing the upper layer of the 
hardboard into a bag which loads ice blocks in advance or a heat insulation 
bottle for heat insulation; and sealing with an 
adhesive tape after well boxing, marking and starting the transportation as soon as possible. By adopting the method, the 
survival rate of the sea cucumber during the transportation is effectively improved, and the 
transportation cost is reduced.
