The invention provides a morphology-adjustable 
molybdenum disulfide preparation method and relates to a method for preparing morphology-adjustable 
molybdenum disulfide through a mixed 
solvent hot method. The preparation method comprises fully stirring 
ammonium molybdate and 
thiourea as initial reactants through a 
magnetic stirrer through adjustment of a ratio of 
ethanol to deionized water in a mixed 
solvent until the drugs are fully dissolved so that a uniform, stable and transparent solution is obtained, pouring the solution into the lining of a 
polytetrafluoroethylene reactor, putting the 
polytetrafluoroethylene reactor into a stainless steel-made 
high pressure reaction vessel, carrying out a 
solvent heat reaction process under control of a 
reaction temperature and reaction time, cooling the product to the 
room temperature in air, collecting the samples, and carrying out 
centrifugation, washing and 
drying to obtain morphology-adjustable 
molybdenum disulfide. At a certain temperature, in a certain reaction time, 
molybdenum disulfide products with different morphologies are obtained through control of 
reaction conditions. The 
molybdenum disulfide products with different morphologies can effectively adjust 
catalysis performances. The preparation method has the advantages of simple processes, good product uniformity and 
batch production feasibility.
