The method sequentially comprises the following steps of: adding water into a mite-proof agent to prepare mite-proof treatment solution; soaking a polyester fabric into the mite-proof treatment solution, drying and determining the nature to prepare a mite-proof treated polyester fabric; crushing polyethylene granules, sieving, mixing the powder and the mite-proof agent, and blending and granulating the mixture through a double-screw extruder to prepare mite-proof modified polyethylene (PE) granules, wherein the mass content of the mite-proof agent is 2 to 5 percent; and compounding the mite-proof modified PE material and the mite-proof treated polyester fabric by using an extrusion calendering process, keeping the extrusion temperature at 130 to 150 DEG C, and keeping the surface temperature of the mite-proof treated polyester fabric at 120 to 150 DEG C; and cooling the conveyer belt to room temperature. The invention has the advantages that: the mite-proof agent can kill mites and inhibit reproduction of the mites, has no harm to the human body, and has high chemical stability and thermal stability; the mite-proof agent has good compatibility with PE, and does not influence the machining property and other mechanical properties of the PE light conveyer belt; and the method totally accords with the food hygienic standard of American FDA and the laws and regulations of European Union REACH.
