The invention belongs to the field of flame-retardant cables, and particularly relates to a preparation method of a radiation-preventive flame-retardant cable material. The preparation method includes following steps: (1), preparing a radiation-preventive agent; (2), activating the radiation-preventive agent; (3), preparing the cable material: mixing a flame retardant, the radiation-preventive agent after being activated, carbon nanotube, vinyl distearamide, glycerol triacetate, triazine ultraviolet absorbent, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, polyolefin elastomer, triethylene diamine, initiator, antioxidant 1010 and high-density polyethylene, putting a mixture into a torque rheometer, blending at 100-125 DEG C and 100-150r/min for 25-35min, and performing extrusion molding to obtain the cable material. The cable material prepared by the method has high radiation-preventive performance, excellent mechanical performance, good flame-retardant effect and high market popularization value.
