The invention relates to a pail floating type power accumulator. A floating pail device is arranged in the cavity of a vertical shell, and the power accumulator comprises a shell, the floating pail device, a lower cover and an upper cover, wherein, the lower cover is provided with a
valve seat and an oil inlet; the upper cover is provided with a gas charging valve; the floating pail device is arranged in the cavity of the shell to separate a gas storage chamber and a
liquid storage chamber from the cavity of the sell, the gas storage chamber is used for storing pre-charged
high pressure gas, the
liquid storage chamber is used for storing incompressible hydraulic oil, and the two chambers are communicated with each other through the gap between the outer edge of the floating pail device and the inner edge of the shell. If the pressure of hydraulic oil provided by a generating
system excesses the upper limit, the hydraulic
oil can be led into the gas storage space of the cavity of the floating bail to be stored temporarily through a communicating
pipe; when in feeding oil, the hydraulic oil is preferably discharged from the cavity of the floating bail, and
residual oil mass can not be accumulated, so as to protect the power accumulator not to lose
efficacy because of exceeding the limit. In addition, the gap is left between the floating pail device and the shell, thereby generating no abrasion, being capable of rapidly responding operational requirement, prolonging the service life of the power accumulator and reducing maintenance cost.
