The invention relates to a haydite asphalt pavement material and a method for paving road surface by using the haydite asphalt pavement material, in particular to an asphalt pavement material and a method for paving the road surface. The invention solves the problems that the majority of the prior roads are non-permeability road surface without pollution-controlled function; at the same time, runoff production quantity of the road is high, and degradation of organic pollutants is weak, which leads to serious pollution by directly discharging the pollutants into water; supplement effect to groundwater is weak and water fog is easily generated to cause traffic accidents. The pavement material in the invention consists of asphalt, light haydite and ore aggregate. The method for paving the haydite asphalt road surface comprises the following procedures that I. the asphalt, the light haydite and the ore aggregate are weighed; II. mixture of the haydite and asphalt is prepared through mixing; and III. the obtained substance is then stirred, mixed, paved and rolled to obtain the haydite asphalt road surface. The road surface paved by the haydite asphalt pavement material of the invention can prevent water fog from generating on an expressway, and thus reducing hidden troubles of the traffic accidents; the invention also effectively supplements groundwater to solve the problem of water resource shortage of our country, and has decontamination function.
